Temporomandibular disorders are disorders of the jaw muscles, temporomandibular joints and/or the nerves associated with chronic facial pain.
Some of the symptoms may be:

• If you have pain in your TMJ, jaw muscles or both
• Jaw locking (cannot get your jaw open), clicking or grating sounds in jaw joint
• Pain while chewing food
